Introduction

 

My name is Beth Kabuga, a Hair and Makeup artist and a Loctician. I specialise in hair and love to experiment with both hair and Makeup. I love passing on knowledge. Therefore i am always looking to improve my skills and knowledge. 

My purpose for this blog is to experiment with new ideas, approaches and design collisions, which is crucial for harnessing practical strategies in developing a hybrid approach to beauty.

I will be looking at sensory experiences that shape materials and applications. 

 I am approaching this project with a curious mind, allowing myself to challenge previous knowledge. To do this, I must forget previous disciplines and methodologies and embrace this as an experiment. I will be looking at beauty technologies, science, sensory ideas and design practices. This will allow me to deepen my understanding of speculative beauty design and its social and economic impact.
